Patrick Watson
Interim Manager

Patrick Watson has been consulting and working with senior management and their teams since 1994. This work has been across multiple industries, helping them to meet diverse challenges from performance management to operational turnaround and integration.  He spent over 6 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers principally assisting major financial services clients, focused on strategic, change, transition and financial management issues.  Following this he worked for LogicaCMG (FTSE 100) for 5 years and lead their UK management consulting division, working across a broad range of businesses from FMCG, financial services and government agencies.

Aside from the external advisor and management roles Patrick has also spent, until recently, 10 years as the Finance Director of a quoted company, raising funds and applying them to the restarting of an historic gold mine, gaining valuable experience of working in Asia and across multi-cultural environments.  He has also been the interim finance director for a fast growing FMCG business in the UK.

Patrick’s key strengths arise from his ability to bring a focus on the key financial issues a business may face whilst also understanding how to bring about the necessary transition from the status quo to the desired best solution to deliver the strategic objectives of a business.  This brings a rounded approach to transition and change management built on a foundation of many years of managing business change.

Patrick has a degree in engineering from the Imperial College of Science & Technology in London and is also a chartered accountant (ICAEW) having trained with KPMG in London.  He spent his formative years in South East Asia in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore and has also lived and worked in the UK, Africa, Belgium and Switzerland.
