Supathra Kuratana is LLM’s Senior Client Partner and Business Development Director, Thailand. She joined the team to help clients unlock new opportunities and support their growth agenda, especially in Thailand’s competitive market.  

With over 26 years of experience in global, regional and local markets in Marketing & Sales, Managing Director and Head of Country positions, she has an extensive international outlook. Her global roles for leading corporate and multinational companies in FMCG and the consumer sector, include Unilever, Mars, LIXIL (American Standard) and Diversey where she managed multiple teams in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. She has also held senior positions at Thailand’s leading local multinationals, including Thai Union Group, a leading global seafood company, where she honed her on-the-ground operational skills. 

Driven by innovation, her most recent role was as Global Commercial Innovation Director, Thai Union Group, with a $300 million global innovations sales value by 2021. Here she utilised her skillset to launch and commercialise innovations in branded markets (Europe, US and Thailand). Before this, she was Managing Director for T Holdings (a subsidiary of Thai Union Group), which is a THB 1,400 million (US$45 million) business in Thailand. 

Having lived and been educated overseas, Supathra has a deep understanding of different cultures – particularly in Thailand. Her international outlook and intercultural understanding make her invaluable when working with leading corporate and multinational companies in Asia-Pacific.
